Testing Soil for Lead Hazards: Environmental Education Associates (1-888-436-8338)  will charge between $150-$200 for the site service and the analytical cost for soil testing in the Rochester area, as long as it is in reasonable proximity to EEA office. The soil samples are done as composites, so unless someone has a great deal of bare soil and/or is planning on planting a large garden; there will be about 3 samples taken per household.  A report with recommendations in the event that the soil lead content is elevated will be provided. http://www.environmentaleducation.com/
